In the women's apparel industry, there's an unwritten rule: size charts are approximate. S bust 84? Fine. M bust 88? Close enough. As for what 4XL should measure—most brands don't list it because they don't make 4XL.
Done, but mostly just scaling up the M size: adding 20cm to the chest circumference and 8cm to the shoulder width, labeling it "4XL," and listing it. The wearer will find the shoulder seam sitting on their arm, sleeves ending mid-forearm, and the waistline hitting the chest—this isn't clothing; it's a disaster.
Xiangluju doesn't do "scaled-up" plus sizes. Every size is pattern-drafted from scratch. Group A (S-M): one pattern set; Group B (L-XL): one pattern set; Group C (2XL-3XL): one pattern set; Group D (4XL-5XL): one pattern set. This isn't just numbers on a size chart.
In this Q2 report, we are publicly sharing, for the first time, comprehensive fit measurements across all current Xiang Luo Ju styles. Key dimensions include bust, waist, shoulder width, and armhole depth. Data sourced from our Fit Lab: each style and size is independently measured on ≥ 3 samples to calculate the average.
